British Airways First Class to Australia to get Expanded to all fights

 British Airways First Class Suite on all Australian services

 

British Airways First Class passengers travelling to
Australia from March next year will be able to experience the airlines new
First Class cabin on all services to/from Australia.

 

This ultra luxury suite is already seen on British Airways
existing Boeing 777 Services including the Sydney-Singapore-London service,
however this upgrade will see it extended onto all Boeing 747-400 operated
services.

 

British Airways head
of customer experience, Mark Hassell
, said: “We have contemporised First and created an intimate private jet
experience onboard. We have resisted gadgets and gimmicks and focused instead
on simplicity and quality.”

 

British Airways new First Class Suite features an enhanced intelligent
mattress bed that is 60% wider at the shoulders other features of British
Airways new First Class suite include:

  • Personal Wardrobe
  • Leather-bound writing desk that converts into a dining table
  • 15” IFE Screen
  • Buddy seat that will allow customers to dine together
  • Mood lighting & electronic blinds
  • Noise Cancelling Headsets
  • Anya Hindmarch washbag
  • Amenities by REN, D.R Harris & Co and Mavis
  • New Premium style Service

 

In addition to the existing Sydney-Singapore-London services the new British Airways First Class suite will be rolled out to the airlines London to Bangkok (BA9/10) as well as London to Hong Kong services. It
should be noted that from early next year BA will discontinue its Sydney to
Bangkok and Sydney to Hong Kong services these route will instead be operated by Qantas code share flights. This in effect will mean the only flight you will be able to fly British Airways all the way from Sydney to London in BAs new First Class suite will be the Sydney-Singapore-London service.
