Korean Air’s first A380 was revealed to the world today after the aircraft (MSN035) made it out of the paint shop in Hamburg.
This aircraft is Korean Air’s first Airbus A380 and will go into service on the Seoul to Tokyo (Narita) route from 1 June 2011. MSN035 is the first of 10 Airbus A380 aircraft that Korean Air has on order with Airbus.
This Korean Air A380 aircraft will also be put into service from Seoul to Hong Kong and Bangkok, with Transpacific services from Seoul to New York and Los Angeles beginning later this year.
Korean Air’s Airbus A380 will be the world’s most spacious A380 implementation of an Airbus A380 with a total of only 407 seats (12 First Class seats, 94 Premier Class/Business Class seats & 301 Economy Class seats)
