Qantas to operate all A380 flights from Tom Bradley International Terminal from October

With the introduction of Qantas’s first Airbus A380 on its routes from Melbourne to Los Angeles and Sydney to Los Angeles, all Qantas A380 Services will be operated out of Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport LAX

  

Presently Qantas operates out of 3 terminals at LAX, being terminal 3 terminal 4 and Tom Bradley international Terminal, with Tom Bradley International Terminal recently been upgraded to handle the Airbus A380 super jumbo double Decker aircraft.

 

 

 

 

 

“As the first airline to bring the A380 to Los Angeles International Airport, we have carefully reviewed our entire operational requirements and made the necessary adjustments to ensure a smooth transition for our passengers,” said Wally Mariani, Qantas Senior Executive VP Americas and Pacific.

 

 

Qantas will commence A380 operations from October 20 2008 with its first flight operating from Melbourne to Los Angeles return and its second a few days later on 24 October 2008 from Sydney to Los Angeles return.
