Singapore Airlines Release A380 Cabin Configuration Details and Seat Map Diagram

Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 Seat Map: This week Singapore Airlines (SIA) has released cabin configuration details and seat map diagrams for their first Airbus A380 and the first Airbus A380 to go into production.

Singapore Airline's Airbus A380 Seat map shows 471 seats in total in three classes, 12 Singapore Airlines Suites on the main deck, 60 Business Class seats on the upper deck, and 399 economy seats on both the rear upper and lower decks.

Singapore Airlines 12 Singapore Airlines Suites which are pictured in the seat map diagram below were referred to by a Singapore Airlines spokesman as being above first class and “is in a league of its own” which will explain why Singapore Airlines Suites will have a new class code of ‘R’. It is yet to be seen how many frequent flyer miles will be needed to either to fly or upgrade the Singapore to Sydney route but we here at the Business Travel Guru are guessing it will require more than miles than their current first class award purchase or upgrade. We will keep you posted when details are released.

Singapore Airlines will make history when on 25 October 2007 they will operate the first commercial flight of the Airbus A380 from Singapore SNG to Sydney SYD. Tickets for this first commercial flight of the Airbus A380 were recently auctioned off on eBay raising over 1.9 Million dollars for several Singapore and Sydney based charities.

Singapore Airlines will operate the first 4 Airbus A380s to go into production from a total of 19 that Singapore Airlines have on order with Airbus. Following delivery of Singapore Airlines first four Airbus A380s Qantas and Emirates will start taking delivery of their first Airbus A380s.

WOW! $1.9 MILLION DOLLARS! That's a lotta money for plane tickets.

This must be the most luxe plane ever invented.

I've heard that Singapore is a fun city. Now it looks like getting there will be fun, too!

Great thanks for the info,

I am lucky enough to have booked a seat on this A380 in November, from the above seat map I trying for 11a, 17a also looks like a nice private seat, but as it is near the galley it may be a little noisy.

I have flown the Airbus 320 Singapore Airlines Version from Singapore to Sydney 2x.

To be brief. Yes it is a nice aircraft.

But most noticable is the interior of the aircraft it self as it's entertainment system, seats, celling lights which often changes accordingly to the surrounding day or night atmosphere.  you can plugin your usb to send emails etc while using internet. And most important, I was seated on the upper level, and I couldnt tell if the engine was at maximum speed or taxi speed.. I hardly hear the engine sound... it was a quite flight overall it was the best aircraft I have flown so far....
