A380: First Class Singapore Airlines Suites & Business Class Cabin
Revealed, the following YouTube video reveals Singapore Airlines A380 Cabin
(see below), including the infamous Singapore Airlines Suites, Singapore
Airlines Business Class, along with the Economy class cabin.
The Singapore
Airlines Suites are great, and a real step forward in airline evolution, but
they are not quite as private as the media photos make them out to be as you
will see in the below YouTube video. An
average size person look over top of the partition, but then again this section
of the aircraft would be off limits to anyone but crew and Singapore Airlines
Suites Passengers.

Singapore Airlines
A380 Business Class is another step forward in Business class evolution,
and I would rate, the seat better than that planed by United Airlines earlier
in the year (mainly because of the width), but then again I would really need
to take a flight in both before I could truly compare.
Business Class
Cabin/Seat Stats, 60 seats in a 1-2-1 seat configuration and a seat width
is 87 cm (34 inch) with a seat pitch of 1.4 m (55 inch), in the lie flat bed configuration;
the length is 193 cm (76 in). Entertainment
unit has as screen size of 39 cm (15.4 in) in addition seats have AC power
supply, USB port for charging USB devices (iPod, PDA, etc), along with Video in
(AUX in).
Singapore Airlines A380
Economy Class looks nice the big 27 cm (10.6 in) screen is a great and the
seat at 48 cm (19 inch) wide which is 3.8 cm 1.5 in wider than their previous Singapore
Airlines 747-400 economy class seat (seat pitch remains the same 81.5 cm , 32 in).
Each seat also has a USB port for charging USB devices (iPod, PDA, etc), and
Video in (AUX in) 2 in 3 seats have an AC power supply. In total there are 399
seats with a seat configuration of 3-4-3 on the main deck and 2-4-2 on the
upper desk . Singapore Airlines won’t lose any customers with these new
features and additions.
Overall Singapore Airlines have excelled with their
cabin/seat design, but it is what you would expect when they have an aircraft room
of the Airbus A380, Well done.
