Emirates online booking engine, it looks like Emirates will put its second
Airbus A380 aircraft into operation on daily flights on the Dubai (DXB) London (LHR) route from 1 December 2008.

Emirates
second Airbus A380 will operate under flight
number EK1 for the Dubai to London flight and EK2 on the return. EK1 will depart Dubai at 0745 arriving at
Heathrow’s T3 at 1135; return flight EK2 will depart London at 1345 arriving at
Dubai at 0030 the following day.
Emirates
will operate 3 cabin configurations on their Airbus A380 aircraft as follows:
- 3
class 489 seat ultra long range configuration
- 3
class 517 Long range configuration
- 2
class 600 seat medium range configuration
Emirates
are expected to operate the 3 class 489 seat ultra long range configuration on
this Dubai London route, and will feature their new Suite which is considered
to be in the same league as Singapore Airlines A380 Singapore Suite, along with
Business Class that features a lie flat bed.
Emirates second Dubai London flight will be
put into operation 3 months after the launch of their inaugural Airbus A380
flight on the Dubai New York route from
October 2008.
