Qantas A380 Cabin Photos – Qantas unveil a disappointing A380 cabin

Qantas A380 Cabin Photos – Qantas have unveiled disappointing photos of their First, Business and Economy cabin in their soon to be released Airbus A380.

The first complaint I have with the Qantas A380 cabin photo is the color scheme, in business and economy Green was chosen for Economy and an Orca red in Business. The color chosen for the first class suites is was the better choice with a creamy grey color.

Having been in and reviewed both the first class and business cabin on Singapore Airlines A380, I feel both their First and business class seats aren’t up to the standard of either the Singapore Airlines Suite or their Business Seat. Don't get me wrong the Qantas A380 First and Business cabins look good, better than 95% of airlines in the sky today, but when they need to meet the high standard of that set by SIA, I can't help but feel a little disapointed.

It’s such as shame as releasing their aircraft after both Singapore Airlines and Emirates they had the chance to release a superior seat and cabin. I only hope (unlikely) they will decide to redesign their cabin before first flight in October this year.  Airlines should not be judged just by their cabin but also by the service they provide, The future service provided on the Qantas A380 may be the best in the world, but for many passengers all they have to go by when selecting an airline is cabin photos, and not the quality of service.

I agree, the green in economy is not good at all, and the cushioning in all classes looks insufficient, I can imagine they would not be very comfortable for a larger person.

How about Premium economy? Would also love to see photos, especially of the entertainment system in First, Business, and Economy.  Not up to the standard of Singapore Airlines A380, and from the photos I have seen of Emirates Business and First suites I am sure it won’t match the emirates A380.

We should find out in the next few months how comfortable those seats are with expected media events in the lead up to, and then the launch in October.

Premimum Economy pics would also be great,

I must say, from the photos the decor is not very inspiring. You would think that as this fleet is quite new and that there are other companies with A380's (Singapore and Emirates) that they would have put more thought into the color scheme. I know there is more to flying than the color of the seats, but on a marketing point of view there is nothing more off putting than a drab and lifeless interior - whether it be a hotel room, a car whatever. Also, those seats look like an old sofa where the padding falls out from beneath you. It may be comfortable and the service may be great! But who wants to gamble $10'000 odd on something that looks like a cheap motel on route 64! I guess we will find out how it fares over time but as for myself, Singapore Airlines and Emirates is where I will be spending my (companies) money.

Yuck, Qantas are you for real, do you want to bankrupt your company? Going by those photos and given the choice I would fly with Singapore or Emirates anyday

My god I was expecting a lot more from the Qantas Airbus A380 release, at least something to rival Singapore Airlines A380, and then they release this!

Now I don't want to fly on their A380 at all not even to give it a try. From now on I will be flying with Singapore Airlines and Emirates where possible, no more Qantas for me!!
