    Re: Air Fuel Hike

Fuel hike is inevitable in current scenario . It is basic law of economics, scares commodity command higher prices then the commodity which are in plenty.

More over i believe , OPEC nations are putting oil prices higer because they know that their Oil reserves are not going to last for longer so they just want to take out maximum from it.

So the price hike by airliines is much needed painful decision because of this cut throat competition all airlines are fighting for penny and this increase in fare is obviously going to have bad impact on their balance sheet.

yes rightly said...the frequent fliers have no choice other then paying the increased cost. in-fact Air-travel has become a necessity and no one has any choice other then paying increased fare. Travelguruz http://alanheib.travelencia.com

I remember, I do have a choice which is to wait for the offpeak season. I mean, I schedule my business flights when there are discounts available. It's a little bit hard to work around such offers. However, when I have a tight budget, I have to seek for these things.

The ratio by weight of air and fuel in the mixture being sent into the cylinders of a reciprocating engine. Ideally, the ratio should be 15:1. Besides the ideal ratio, the air-fuel mixture may be rich or lean depending on the quantity of fuel in the mixture.

Fuel price is rising day by day. Its so expensive that its a better travelling by public transport. The airfare are also increased day by day to incurs the price risk of the fuel.
