    US Airways and deduction of miles

    Hi

    I made a an award booking on US Airways a few months ago and they still have not deducted the miles from my FF account, is this normal? (not deducting until the flight is taken) Or has there been a stuff up.

    I would be very concerned if they dont deduct points until a FF has taken their flight, supose I did not remember how many miles I had and made an earlier award booking.

    I stay away from US Airway like the plague, but the times I have had to fly with them on my FF miles they have been deducted within a few days, I will be calling US Airways up and asking what is going on, if you have in deed lost you booking it would help if you have either an email or printed confirmation of your booking as they may not be any award seats available.
